The quick verdict
Full verdict ↓Great for Children of 3 to 5 who are learning to count and like Peppa Pig
Think twice if Your child can already count to ten with ease; there is little challenge beyond that
How we rate it
Learning curve. Pick, count and match: a three-year-old can follow it with a parent, which puts it at 1 on our scale with UNO.
Luck & skill. Tokens come out of the bag at random, so luck decides the order. Counting and matching are the skills being practised, not ways to win.
Interaction. Players take turns and help each other count; there is no way to block or attack anyone.
Set-up. Lay out the four boards and drop the tokens into the bag.
Reading. Tokens are matched by their pictures; the boards have short English labels and the instruction sheet is in English.
Learning curve: 1 = UNO or Connect 4; 3 = Catan; 5 = a heavy strategy game. These describe the experience, not an overall score.
Is Peppa Pig 123 Game right for you?
Great if
- Children of 3 to 5 who are learning to count and like Peppa Pig
- A parent and child counting aloud together, in whichever language you speak at home
- Practising taking turns in a short game that lasts about 20 minutes
- A small birthday or return gift for a young Peppa fan
Skip it if
- Your child can already count to ten with ease; there is little challenge beyond that
- You want a game with choices to make: picking tokens from a bag is pure luck
- There is a baby or toddler under 3 at home: the 40 small tokens are easy to lose or put in a mouth
How Peppa Pig 123 Game plays
Set-up: the box holds four picture boards and 40 counting tokens in a bag. Funskool's photos show one board of coloured lollipops, one of Peppa's shopping list (eggs, cheeses, juice boxes, pumpkins and more), one of everyday objects such as clocks, kites and books, and one of Peppa's friends, such as George, Zoe Zebra and Pedro Pony. With up to four players, each child can look after a board; a child playing alone can use all four.
- Time to teach: about 2 minutes.
- Reading and language: Children match tokens by their pictures and count them, so they don't need to read. The boards carry short English labels such as 'eggs' and 'red lollipop', and the instruction sheet is in English; a parent can explain it in any home language and count aloud in Hindi, Tamil or English.

The full explanation: how a game of Peppa Pig 123 Game goes
A turn: pick a token from the bag without looking, count the pictures on it and work out which group on the boards it belongs to. Funskool's box gives the idea: if you pick one red lollipop, where would you put it? With the coloured lollipops.
Funskool hasn't put the instruction sheet online, and the box doesn't say how a game ends or who wins, so read the sheet in the box before your first game. The box says a game takes about 20 minutes.
Tip: ask your child to count each token out loud, touching every picture, and to name what they see ('three pumpkins!'). With a three-year-old, start with one board and a few tokens, and add the rest as counting gets easier.

What reviewers and players say
No written reviews, forum threads or how-to-play videos about the Peppa Pig 123 Game could be found, so this rests on Funskool's own page and box. Funskool sells it as an early counting game: pick a token, count the pictures and find the group it matches, practising counting, matching and taking turns. The draw is Peppa and her friends, whom pre-schoolers like to name as they play. With tokens drawn at random and no choices to make, it is a learning game to play with a parent more than a contest, and children who already count well will outgrow it quickly.
What people love
- Peppa, George and their friends on the boards, which young fans like to spot and name
- Counting practice that feels like a game rather than a worksheet
- No reading needed to match the tokens, so grandparents and children can play in any language
- One child can play alone, or up to four together
Common complaints
- Funskool hasn't put the rules online, so you depend on the sheet in the box
- Drawing tokens from a bag is pure luck, so older children may lose interest
- 40 small tokens are easy to lose and not safe for children under 3

Questions people ask about Peppa Pig 123 Game
How do you play the Peppa Pig 123 Game?
Lay out the four picture boards. On your turn, pick a token from the bag, count the pictures on it and find the group on the boards where it belongs. Funskool's full rules, including how the winner is decided, are on the instruction sheet in the box.
What age is the Peppa Pig 123 Game for?
Funskool says 3 years and up, for 1 to 4 players, and the box says a game takes about 20 minutes. The tokens are small, so keep them away from babies and toddlers.
Does the Peppa Pig 123 Game help children learn to count?
That is what it is for: the box lists counting, matching and taking turns as the skills it practises. Children count the pictures on each token and match them to the right group, so it works best with a parent counting along.
Is the Funskool Peppa Pig 123 Game an official Peppa Pig product?
Yes. The box says 'Licensee' and carries the Peppa Pig copyright line for Astley Baker Davies Ltd and Entertainment One UK Ltd. The Peppa Pig brand has belonged to Hasbro since it bought Entertainment One in 2019.
What is the difference between the Peppa Pig 123 Game and the ABC Game?
They are sister games in Funskool's Peppa Pig range, both for ages 3 and up and 1 to 4 players. The 123 Game is about counting and matching groups of pictures; in the ABC Game, Funskool says, children match pictures with letters to earn tokens.
